🐚 Is Death Note Anime Finished
While I still think the second half of the anime is weaker than the first one, anime did a very poor job with it. For reference, Near's arc in manga is almost as long as L's yet in the anime, the first arc is 24 eps and the second one is a little over half of it. They skipped some events, they skipped tons of Near's thought processes and other
I really liked the show, it makes you think a lot about the definition and differences between good and bad and how easy it is to take the wrong path…
salo- • 6 yr. ago. I read the manga right after the anime because I needed more. The anime follows the manga quite faithfully except at the end if I remember correctly (which the manga did better in my opinion). The artwork is great, and I had a lot of fun going through the story again. If you can, look for the boxset with the 13th manga 'How
I just finished watching the last episode of Death Note and I feel so depressed. this anime was really dark and the ending was even darker. and don't get me wrong, I really admire this show and its characters. the thing is, that all of my favorite characters were dead at the end of the show (L, Watari, Naomi, Chief Yagami, Rem, Misa, and even Mello), add to that Light's suffering in the end.
Death Note (Japanese: デスノート) is a Japanese television drama series based on the manga series of the same name by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. It was directed by Ryūichi Inomata, who directed the television drama Kaseifu no Mita in 2011, and Ryō Nishimura known by the special version of the 2014 drama Kamen Teacher.
Well with that theory, the "Gevanni copying Death Note" (not similar handwriting but Mikami was basically brainwashed so it didn't matter) does make sense. And it'd be impossible for Light to win without Mikami and Death Note. Make more sense but Mikami's foolishness still irk me lol.
Light Yagami is an ace student with great prospects and he's bored out of his mind. But all that changes when he finds the Death Note, a notebook dropped by a rogue Shinigami death god. Any human whose name is written in the notebook dies, and now Light has vowed to use the power of the Death Note to rid the world of evil. But when criminals be
A shinigami, as a god of death, can kill any person—provided they see their victim's face and write their victim's name in a notebook called a Death Note. One day, Ryuk, bored by the shinigami lifestyle and interested in seeing how a human would use a Death Note, drops one into the human realm. High school student and prodigy Light Yagami stumbles upon the Death Note and—since he deplores
The Death Note anime, directed by Tetsurō Araki and animated by Madhouse, began airing on Nippon TV on October 4, 2006, and finished its run on June 27, 2007, totaling 37 episodes. The series aired on the network "every Tuesday at 0:56", which is effectively Wednesday.
Finished the Death Note Manga. I decided to read the manga for the first time after watching the anime about 9 times and wow I didn't realise how much more detailed the series and mind games are, especially in the second half compared to the anime. I like L's heirs much more now - Especially Near, who is cooler and way more interesting there as
Without a shred of doubt, the anime adaptation of Death Note is the best and most beloved version of the story. Across 37 episodes, the viewers are treated to the most accurate portrayal of the
I'll mention first that, like @Deidara-senpai pointed out, there are some general reasons why an anime can differ from the manga. However, in the case of Death Note, there appear to be some unique specifics to their changes as well. The anime director of Death Note partook in an interview in November 2007 for an issue of Newtype USA. (I don't
Hello! Came to add there's another novel called L: Change the WorLd following an alternative timeline where L is alive, too! It has a movie adaptation by the same name that follows the 2 live-actions, set after Death Note 2: The Last Name, and manga is very recommended, there's 12 volumes + a 13th one called How To Read that contains extra content (facts about the characters, commentary by
In my experience there are 3 types of Death note fans. There are the hardcore anime hipster fans who watched the episode after L's death and went "Nope, this show sucks now I'm done". There are the fans who grew disappointed with the show after L's death, but remained loyal to the end because they HAD to see what happens.
