Sometimes I have to deal with an improperly configured Eclipse installation and when I try to run it only the dialog "Java was started but returned exit code shows up without giving me any useful information to trace the actual reason Java failed to start. Fatal Error, crash & Co : Thanks to Beatrate Mistrz, you just have to delete some files to fix the problem. Go to : C:\Users\Your name\Documents\my games\Life Is Strange folder and delete Binaries folder and LifeIsStrangeGame. Steam will repear the game automatically, if not, go in your SteamLibrary and repear Life is Strange from SteamTool.

Hello! Episode 4 just downloaded for me, and I was able to play the previous 3 episodes perfectly fine, but now after the 90-something MB update earlier, and Episode 4's download, the game crashes at startup. "Life is Strange has stopped working." Anyone know how to fix this? < >
3- In your steam application, right click on Life is Strange, go to proprieties. In the "updates" tab, look for the Steam Cloud part and untick the synchronisation of the game with Steam Cloud. Okay so this is odd. I had my computer's audio playback Default Device set to my headset (Logitech G35 for reference). The game would not load at all. Immediately crashed upon startup, even for the game's Safe Mode. I switched the playback Default Device to my PC's speakers as I planned to watch a show, then tried loading the game out of curiousity (in safe mode) and it worked. I didn't' think
Says UE4-siren has crashed right at the start. No logo display, no nothing, just a message box with "Fatal Error" text, nothing else in the description. I've updated DirectX, my video drivers, but it doesn't help yet. Googling doesn't help. Has anybody run into this?
